dmx usb Pro

Post by koen »

No Dmx out

When running other software there is a green led (DMX usb Pro) blinking. Running LXConsule this Led does'n work.

When checking the widget info the software crashes.
(LXConsule->Preferences->DMX info->Widget info)

(cu.usbserial-00004006 is the found device)

There have been several improvements to output over various versions of LXConsole. You should download the latest build version (2.0.7) and try that.

Do you have the FTDI drivers for the USB Pro installed? The blinking green LED is usually an indication of a good connection with the USB Pro. As is the ability to read the serial number.

When you are testing the output, make sure that the USB Pro is selected as the DMX Out setting. Also, select another protocol such as ArtNet for the input setting. It is not possible to use the same interface for DMX in and out at the same time.

Also, only levels from cue playback or in the Live mode will get sent to the output. If you are testing channels in cue, sub or group modes, there will be no change to the output.

Can the usb adapter for a mouse be replaced without replacing the entire mouse? The little usb adapter for my wireless mouse bent and no longer works. I just want to know if there is a way to remedy this situation without having to buy an entirely new mouse.
