I got a link to download the latest version but the installer says (in Swedish then): "You can´t install LXConsole on this volume. You already have a newer version installed."
See the instructions below. There's clearly something wrong with the Apple PackageMaker that won't install an obviously newer version over a clearly older one. It may have something to do with installing a newer Leopard/Intel version over an existing Universal Tiger+ version. But, there's no conclusive proof that that is the case.
Following the instructions should fix the problem. It does not seem to recur with further updates after it has been fixed.

There appears to be an occasional proble with LXConsole installer when trying to install an updated version.
If you are getting a message like "nothing to install" or "can't install because a newer version exists", Try this:
In the Library folder of your hard drive look for the Receipts folder. In there may be a package receipt for LXConsole.pkg. Delete this file and try to install.
