Beam colour

LxPro version 4.5. Beam colour, or color if you prefer, seems to have disappeared. Might even have been lost a few iterations ago. Can't seem to find any preference pane to turn it on and off.

Beams are created with the stroke/fill properties that are set for the oval tool. Its likely that if you select that tool and look at the Inspector's drawing pane, the fill box will be unchecked.

Note that these settings apply when a beam is created. So changing them will not change existing beams. You can change existing beams by selecting them and editing the stroke/fill settings as desired.

OK, thanks. I guess I must have missed that in some update or other. Do you publish a "what's new" with the updates?

The stroke/fill of beams has always been controlled this way. Although it makes sense that it uses the controls in the drawing tab, perhaps its not obvious. So, the latest build adds a note by the beam display settings.
