I´d like to be able to fill in a field with information about how many lamps of a certain kind that I can access on a special Venue.
In Maclux there was a report showing how many lamps I had used of different kinds and how that changed my inventory status.

I think the columns were called "have", "used" and "need".

Is there any way I can create such a report in LXFree?

When I add the column "Inventory" to a report in LX free it gives me, to my surprise, the symbol nr!
I´m not very interested in that so what other field might hide/hold the information I seek and want to add?

You are looking for the "Symbols" report.

The "Symbols" report allows you to access and edit properties of the symbols contained in the key.

A list report such as the "Channel List" allows you to display properties of the associated key entry such as the "Lamp" field. But, you cannot edit them. "Inventory" does not make sense in a list report because each light knows only about itself.
