Group / Ungroup
I am using the Group function to replicate and re-orientate a shaped truss with about 30 instruments rigged to it. When I Ungroup the truss to address the individual instruments they are no longer attached to the truss. A simple drag re-positions them on the truss but I wonder if there is some way of doing this globally rather then individually.

You should be able to use Format->Position->Update Lights.
However, this was not working correctly. The latest build 3.1.6 (7916A) corrects this. It also will probably avoid the problem in the first place because it associates lights and positions when they are grouped and ungrouped. With the new version, the only time you may need to go back and set position connections is if you have manually set them before grouping or ungrouping.
(Just as a reminder, clicking with the option key down allows you to select individual objects within a group so that you can examine and edit the object's properties without needing to ungroup first.)
