hi all

just figured out that importing a grayscale image as a background is not saved in the file. It only works with rgb images.

Is it a bug ?
i'm in version 5.3.2 . (Cant run 5.4 on this machine)

Look in the Preferences->File/XML tab to see if the " Use sRGBColorSpace for JPEG data" is checked.
