Opening old MacLux Plots

I have Maclux 2.00 and would like to open an old plot in LXfree. When I use the OPEN icon it doesn't work. I tried using the HELP and got no hits back using MACLUX, MAC LUX, or IMPORTING PLOTS in the search.

LXFree is not MacLux Pro and it cannot open MacLux Pro files.
MacLux Pro 2.2 can export .lxx files which transfer most of the information from a MacLux Pro plot to other applications.
The .lxx file format is XML based and is designed to be a general format that can be read by applications running on multiple platforms. LXX does not support external graphics. Because it is general rather than specific to a single application, it also does not include all of the features that either MacLux Pro or LXFree have in their own files.
