Is there a way with Lx Free to convert a rectangle or circle to a lighting position? The lighting position tool only draws lines.
No, Circles and Rectangles are just graphics, they cannot be used as a position.
You can, however, draw a position behind any set of lights and "hide" it by turning off the draw stroke setting. The hidden position will still function and will interact with light symbols as if it was visible.
Multiple position lines with the same name are treated as a single position as long as they are adjacent in the Positions report. Select and drag in the Positions report to change the order.
