I have no problems reproducing this - au contraire ;-) I occassionally manage to avoid it but don't really know why. Tried rebooting and restarting running no other software than LXConsole but I see no pattern explaining why activation of ethernet leads to this instant crash of LXConsole (including ...

Crash LXConsole

Thought I´d try to run Artnet over Wifi from LXConsole, but it immediately crashes when I activate Ethernet without any Ethernetcable connected.

This is a good idea and can be very useful for concerts, disco etc. I think the dynamic effects in avolite desks are a great model. It´s very easy with these to run a bunch of moving heads live when you have masters to control the effectdynamics. And as more and more moving heads enter also the thea...

stopping ALL effects

Im missing a button in LXConsole that I have in my iPads OSC layout. Its a button that stops and clears ALL active effects. Would be nice also to have a button that starts all selected effects. Now only one at a time can be chosen and started And finally Id like to be able to change the order of the...

Point out locked items

A silly little request... I'd like that if a marked item is locked it shouldnt be marked with the usual handles in corners and centerpoints. An x or something else that differs from the little square would be helpful. Now if I mark a bunch of objects in a plot and try to move them all I have no indi...

Rendering is mighty slow.

I rendered a one hour HD video just last week and was very impressed with how fast my latest laptop managed that. Took about five minutes! Its a Powerbook with 16Gb ram, NVIDIA Ge Force GT 650M 1024 Mb for graphics and running OSX 10.10. Now tonight Im trying to render some models in my LXBeams plot...

I may have found it... Testing tomorrow. Looking at my layout for the iPad in the Touchosc Editor i found that my "multi-fader items" had MIDI enabled and set to "Value 1" and Type: "Control change". I don't really understand what that means but I guess disabling this i...

Id pick OSC since its easier to program and feels more straightforward.

Midi always needs to be routed but OSC can send straightforward commands that need no routing.

Easier is better...

Oh yes

Disabling MIdi Bridge is a good clue indeed! But still I need to run both Midi and OSC and have to find a way to make it work. Preferrably with both midi and osc in from touchosc + midi in also from a small Korg nanoctrl. But I still dont understand how raising my channel 2 can trigger the Midi-comm...

That TED talk sounds like a nightmare. Could it be that the audience disturbed with all their smartphones? Ive experienced something similar but less fatal as I held a conference. Everyone in the audience participated in an online music-quiz over their smartphones. That worked OK but my connection w...

Sequences?

Im running LXConsole Version 3.6.1 (8015A) and under view " found some things that are missing explanation in the helptexts.

Apart from effects and notes there is now also sequences.

What's the "sequences" supposed to do?

Looks very interesting!

I've done this with buttons a few times with Touch osc. set a channel to full, when pressing a certain key on my midi keyboard, but when I release it, I would like it to return to zero If your midi note is set to trigger for instance "sub: 1@%v" the button will be acting like a flashbutton...

Thanks!

Yup. I just tested and it worked just fine. Great! But I suggest, with this solution, that the column also ought to change name to make it clearer. In the live window, setup tab, the two columns could be: "Label" and "Cue/Sub" or "Label" and "#/Sub-#" or "...

request: Scenes from Subs.

in LXConsole one can now use Submasters as steps in chase effects, and that´s very nice. Now I wonder if it could be the same when you setup buttons for "scenes" in the live window. So that at the setup for each "scene" there was a column for Sub also. Cues will always be seen in...
