Wow, thats a cool update.

I´ll download and play with that right away!

AND! I noticed another small change that's been on my mind for years.
- The opening and closing of the drawer has lost an annoying little step :-)

its the little things :-)

Great!
I guess a combination of alignment and distribution will work just fine for most cases.

Ok here are two pictures, or three if you like, since before and after look just the same... First I mark a bunch of pipes that I want evenly distributed horizontally. http://distingo.nu/bilder/LXForum/marked%20pipes.jpg And then I trigger the command to distribute them horizontally or vertically, h...

Have we lost the distribution functions somewhere?

Using LXBems Version 4.6.0 (11020.1)

It seems the tools to distribute objects horizontally and vertically are gone.
They can be found in the menu > format - align, but they dont do much.

Thanks

Ive reluctantly learned a little bit more Tcp/ip from this I guess. Ive got it working again and found that one thing I did wrong over and over again was that I thought I had to click the "found host" in my iPad - it´s always one or two lines named LX_OSC. If i both send and receive OSC I ...

TouchOSCs network settings are slowly killing me...

I´ve never been much of a friend of Network settings. It all seems a bit like Voodoo to me. I have a layout that´s been working fine to control LXConsole from an iPad before, but a few months ago it suddenly stopped working in one direction. I still get feedback back from the computer to the ...

Aha... That made some difference :) Fiddling with this I came up with a request: - If I show the group list it would be nice if I could click one or, with command and shift-click, more groups and get them selected in the mainwindow. Similar to the ability to choose next cue by clicking on a cue in t...

Ok, if thats normal behaviour I just need to figure out when and why that could be useful. Beats me so far. Writing an S for "select" works fine. But feels a bit scary to use live. I get no visual confirmation showing in what state I am. The channels just turn yellow in either case. If i f...

Groups have an LTP behaviour

Using LXConsole Version 4.1.0 (9509.1). If I pick channels wit the cursor they can be manually faded from whatever level I may catch them in. But if I choose the same channels by calling a group they will leave whatever valuue they had when picked and start over from zero. Thus making groups useless...

update helppage

this page: https://www.claudeheintzdesign.com/lx/lx_help/insp_layers.html is incorrect in the very last rows. Light symbols only interact with positions contained in the same layer. Ought to be changed to: Light symbols interact with positions contained in the same layer + "or in layers marked ...

Strikes me that...
You are certainly not the first person who had problems finding the patch drawer.
Just a tiny little bump/button in the bottom of the mainwindow would be helpful. The little dot down there is a bit too subtle, I think :-)

Request - please make the infofields keep color and position

I have a plot (LXBeams) with lots of info so I have to manually move ch, dimmer and circuit numbers around a bit to make them all readable. I also use different colours for the letters in different fields to prevent misunderstandings. But nowadays if I choose all lights and hide for instance the dim...

Great project!

Just want to tell you both that I follow this with great interest.
The X32 is a nice gamechanger and Im thinking about buying one for our small stage, in which all lights are run by LXConsole.

Both ways work

I tried both alternatives and they both work for LXConsole sending Artnet.

But as I gave myself a static IP I also lost connection to the internet. So Ill go with the latter - 255.255.255.255. That way I can run the lights while I'm webbrowsing...
