Lanbox and lc edit

I have a personal dream that I will never be able to fulfill on my own. That would be a lightplotting program quite like LX free or maclux that actuallysaves and sends DMX to dimmers and other equipment. To the "LAN-box" for applecomputers there is a program called "LC Edit" one ...

Thanks Claude

I´ve been using LX free now for my last two performances just to give it a chance and to evaluate the thing in a proper and realistic environment. The result is, shortly, that it works, and it works well. It takes some time to get to know, and it has many limitations - but it sure works. Considering...

The plot thickens and a solution appears!

Yesterday I downloaded a whole bunch of updates from apple.

Today my prints look just fine, problem solved!

MAC OSX 10.5.6 with the latest updates works! :D

Thanks

I think I´ve already tried all your suggestions, but I´ll try again... Another major change since last I printed the plot is of course that I´ve bought a new macbook pro. I run the same old HP printer with the same driveroutines but in a new system and an updated LXFree. the Mac: MacBookPro5,2 Proce...

I have a plot that I could print on a single A3 two weeks ago. But now, since the last update, that same plot still looks the same in my computer but when I try to print it on an A3 sheet it puts all information in the centre of four pages and thus splits the image in pieces. What´s happened? Is the...

Inventory / have

I´d like to be able to fill in a field with information about how many lamps of a certain kind that I can access on a special Venue. In Maclux there was a report showing how many lamps I had used of different kinds and how that changed my inventory status. I think the columns were called "have&...

Of course you may have my translation. I just think I need to get more familiar with LX first before anyone publishes. There are several fields ( a vast majority!) in LX whos purpose I fail to understand. Therefore I need to use it a while to see where anomalies occur. Here are some examples of fiel...

Yes now it works just fine.
My texteditor was in default saving in format UTF16 so I just changed that and - Voila!

Thanks for your support.

Hi again. Ive tested to replace the textfile "local field names.txt" and it works just fine. Ambitious, and unemployed, I even made a filemaker solution to store and generate the textfile in different languages. I´ll send you a standalone operative copy if you like. There is however a prob...

Greetings from Sweden - with many thanks for a nice App. I´ll use it in my next project to evaluate further. Being familiar with Maclux I think it will work just fine. I agree on all Jeromes suggestions and hopefully will come up with some of my own on the way. - til then I´d like to lay my vote for...
