well yes and no...

The mac OS has the A3 format and thats allright. But I made the mistake to choose one of your "standard sizes" and since then I havent managed to get the paperwork to look as before. I changed to different "standard sizes" to find the most appropriate, but it's still pretty weird...

And....

Now this with the papers and the very confusing scaling sure can be frustrating sometimes. But! It needs to be said, and not forgotten! - That LXFree and LXBeams both use metric format for all measurements. Despite it's murky origin. For that I, - and I'd guess also others- are very, very grateful! ...

How do I print in A3?

I can´t find any settings for standard European sizes in LXBeams. Where did they go? So I pick what looks the least wrong... But it would be nice to see the pagebreaks not just how a part of my plot disappears out into something white in an unknown good ol´ colonial format. The page settings before ...

Thanks

That solved it.

Never occured to me to open the drawer for a sub.

Some interesting options were hiding there...

Thanks

Me & my grumpy subs don't get along.

I've made subs for the colour-channels in some of my ledlights and the intention was to use them from a nanoctrl but I must have done something wrong. Ive put the subs on the small rotary knobs on top of the nano controller like ”CC-16” with action: ” SUB-3006” and so on, for all the little rotary k...

But you can do this - at least grapically - using the layers you have in LXFree . Draw your dimmer circuits in one layer and your plot in another.
You cant connect them with your suggested new type of line but you can make things pretty clear I think just by building your plot on layers.

Neither I guess :-) English isn't my native language, and it always shows in the details how important that is. You, bearing the french name of Fresnel understand I hope.;-) - And I think maybe you misread me some . I don't think hardwiring dimmer channels out to locations will be a very good idea, ...

This is a fun request. I can certainly see the point for architectural installations, perhaps also more and more for the theatrical designers. I´ll try to explain. I myself have designed a theatre house in which we assumed that dimmers controlling thousands of watts will pretty soon be an old and ou...

A short commercial brake.

the modest admin isnt much of a salespusher so Ill tell you about an alternative way to get the patching done. I myself rarely look in that patch part of LXConsole since I'm a happy owner of LXBeams. I always make a plot of what Im working with. Guess that seems a waste of time maybe having only fou...

Yes a complete uninstall and reinstallment got it right. both Beams and Console. - I always keep two copies of LXConsole on this machine. One old and well tested for emergencies... And a later version that I use daily. Since your updates tend to work really well I noticed that I hadnt changed the ol...

I ran the Terminal command for LXConsole and got the following result: a sealed resource is missing or invalid file added: /Applications/LXSeries Pro/LXConsole.app/Contents/Resources/scripts/Send cues to QLab.scpt Seems there is an applescript too many or in wrong place? - For LXBeams the reply got ...

This was fun! But when I make a special design in LXBeams and export it I dont get any text at all. Could it be because my Helvetica font is Swedish? You know we have some funny extra letters, (å,ä & ö) so maybe there´s a difference? http://distingo.nu/bilder/LXForum/Version%204.2.5%20%289829.1%...

My firewall is being rude

Every time I open LXConsole Im prompted to allow it incoming networkconnections. In Swedish it looks like this: http://distingo.nu/bilder/LXForum/Version%204.2.5%20%289829.1%29/dialogNetwork.jpg It also says that the settings can be changed in the firewall panel. But to me it looks like I've done th...

Here's a picture showing three groups of patched channels with space and break inbetween.

I wonder why do some numbers disappear?

102-103 and so on...
