I understand the intention and agree as to it's value when preparing a new design. In this instance I am transferring a design to a new venue with a totally different equipment schedule. Not a big rig but still around 150 instruments. I do this by dropping the original design onto the new venue and ...

Warnings

v5.5 on OS 10.13.6. Is there some way to disable the warning when changing an instrument type in a drawing?

More on this axis rotation issue. In the beam display, even though the instrument is not very far from vertical I find that rotation does not preserve the oval shape of the beam. Rotation seems to shift the image to nearly circular as it rotates. This does not seem to represent the true behavior of ...

Yep, I had checked system preference for two finger rotation but neglected to look at the check box in LxPro Interface preferences. Works now. Thanks.

That function does not seem to work on my Mac. OS 10.13.6. MacBook Pro Mid 2012. Two finger rotation turned on in System Preferences.

Par can beam axis

Is there someway that you could add a direct click and drag to fine tune the axis of par cans? I know I can do this through the direct angle entry in the stroke/fill info tab but it would be useful if it were possible to drive this directly through the beam image - something like the control point f...

Seems to work backwards. Enter +1m and instrument moves to 1m SR. In the unmodified instrument schedule it reads as SL 0.98m. If I enter SL 1m it then reads SR 1m! It does however work - just backwards.

Direct position entry

I find it very useful to let the crew rig from the "location" column on an instrument schedule. On an overhead lx I can refine the instrument position by directly entering the x location in the ruler tab. This cleans up some overly obsessive position so the crew can rig at 2.5m rather than...

Problem solved - measured distance now comes out perfectly at 1000mm in Vectorworks per 1m Lx Beams. Thanks.

dxf export

My drawing is in metric format and if I export a dxf and then import that into Vectorworks for example I find that 1 meter seems to measure at 988mm. Is this inherent in the conversion from a native imperial measurement app or is there a way to get around this? The 1meter scale I am measuring is fro...

Auto-fill

Is there any chance that the auto-fill function could be extended to other tasks like auto numbering positions? Recently I had to number a full 65 line set on a drawing. I had to draw this as positions in order to number them but they would have been better as graphics. Perhaps there might also be o...

channel insert or delete

One of the things I love a great deal about lx series is the ability to insert or delete channels with all other channels re-numbering automatically. Sometimes I channel a plan with particular numerical commencement sequences for specific instrument types 501 for the start of all moving light spots,...
