Both current versions of LXConsole and LXNet2USBDMX are soft linked to libftd2xx.1.4.16.dylib at the path: /usr/local/lib/libftd2xx.1.4.16.dylib For the ENTTEC open dmx usb, the d2xx output from LXConsole does not work and should NOT be enabled. Instead, the Art-Net output of LXConsole must go to LX...

The latest build of LXBeams (and LXFree) has improved the info table again to keep up with MacOS changes.

You may notice some small changes. Mostly, it will just work better. But, let me know if there are any issues with this latest build.

No issues have been reported. But, never know with Apple (and new processors)... There's always a chance that something will come up. But, that's always true, regardless of new hardware or changes Apple makes. Particular use cases sometimes dig up things that no one has run across for years... It's ...

LXConsole works with M1 hardware using Rosetta2 emulation. Currently LXConsole is not a universal binary for both Intel and Apple Silicon because it links to D2XX and uDMX/libusb frameworks for DMX output. Both of these are Intel only. In the future these legacy outputs will be removed and LXConsole...

<t>Generally when that happens the application is autosaving the file and the file is complex or contains large elements. Large, complex imported PDFs are one example that take a while to save and cause the beach ball to appear. That's probably the most common cause. But there are others, such as co...

This appears to be an issue introduced by Apple moving to MacOS 11. I believe that I found a workaround and the function should be restored in the latest build.

To edit the text of a label using LXBeams2Go, select the text field. Then in the Inspector's object properties tab (icon looks like a ruler) scroll down to the text section and below where you select the font, there is a row for editing the contents.

Is the problem that the files are not where you expect when you look for them in the Finder? Or, is the problem that LXFree is not opening your old files for you? There's nothing special about LXFree .lxxplot files. They are standard XML and the Finder and Time Machine will not treat them any differ...

The current version of LXBeams is a universal app with native code for both x64 and arm processors. The only issue discovered so far was with LXFree, not LXBeams and it was rare and minor. There should not be a problem running LXBeams on a new M1 Mac going forward.

Without being able to compare the files, the most likely cause is due to imported graphics. There are file storage options on both applications that will change the size of a stored file. These are found in LXFree->Preferences on Mac and View->Options with LXFree for Java. A large difference can be ...

LXFree for Java is not supported on MacOS. LXFree, which is Mac-only, is a different, separate application. If you are running LXFree for Java on MacOS, I'm not sure how because a Mac installer is not available. If you are running LXFree and not LXFree for Java on MacOS and the ungroup command does ...

This is happening because the Updates preference for setting for how keys are loaded is set to replace entries always. When the key is loaded, any existing entries that match the incoming are replaced. (the new entries in the library do not have keep in key set) The latest build v5.9.3 (17028.1) now...

I think that the thing to do might be to make a preset effect referencing the four follow cues. As long as the preset effect's options are not set to override cue times, the 4 cues can be setup as a normal follow sequence. Starting the effect will run the 4 cues on their own fade times/follow times....
