This is great info, thanks Claude. I think it’s under control but the bit about the quick load PDFs is very helpful.

Okay, I think I figured out the cause of the problem. The multiple PDFs I was using of our stage plan had a huge file size. I downrezed the files in acrobat and it helped out tremendously. The program still hangs, but only for about 10 seconds as opposed to 3 minutes now. Is there a maximum recommen...

Pin-Wheel of Death

I'm Dying here. I've been working a pretty complicated plot with 33 layers and LX Beams has been working great up until today. Now every 2 minutes, the app gets hung on the Pin-wheel of death for 3 minutes. I'm having a hard time getting my work complete for a build that starts Monday. Please help.

Adding Custom Fixtures to an Existing Key

Just as the above subject suggests... I'm wondering if there's a way to assign a custom fixture to an existing lighting Key.

For instance, I've created a Cineo Lightblade 800 and want to add it to the Cineo Key.

Okay, here's a curveball. What do I do when dealing with native 3/16 Scale plans? It seems the only options for exporting PDFs is 100%, 50%, 200%, Single Page, and Current Zoom. I needed to scale the origin PDF to 75% to match LXBeams native 1/4 scale. Exporting to keep an accurate printed scale wou...

How to change the scale of fixtures

New to the forum, so forgive me if this topic has already been covered ad nauseam. I work in scripted television and film, and more often than not, the scale of the plans we're given to are not 1/4 scale, but anywhere from 1/2, 1/8, 3/8 etc. How does one, in LX Beams, change the scale of the native ...
